Tamamori came to Tokyo with his sights set on getting accepted to the Imperial University. However, he doesn’t pass the entrance exam, and is so undisciplined and wrapped up in endless fantasies that he’s kicked out of his boarding house after only two years. Through a stroke of luck, Tamamori begins to live and work at Umebachidou, a used book store. There, he enjoys whiling away his time as a “student preparing for entrance exams” and taking advantage of friends who are also from his hometown. But one right after the other, mysterious deaths befall those friends and, realizing he’s been repeating the same rainy three days over and over again, Tamamori finds himself racing throughout Jinbochou to save them.

In this pop-occult mystery that surrounds the deaths of his friends… What is real, and what is a hallucination?

The protagonist wakes up in an unfamiliar room with no memory of who he is or how he got here. Any attempt to remember gives him headaches.

His only company is a mysterious man with a pleasant demeanor, who attends to his every need and who the protagonist inexplicably feels drawn to.

The door wouldn’t open and what we thought were windows were actually just screens displaying images of the outside. When we searched the room for some clue as to where we were, we found yet another screen displaying a single, mercilessly cold sentence:

“You have been selected to participate in a behavioral analysis experiment.”

We have to choose and complete a task presented on the screen as instructed if we ever want to see the light of day again.

If we play our cards right, we can get out in ten days—ten choices.

After yet another long stay in the hospital, Sakiyama Youji hoped that things would finally get back to normal. But shortly after returning to school, his world begins to change — and no one seems to notice.

Bizarre symptoms plague his body, and vivid hallucinations of blood and flesh stalk his every waking moment. At the same time, two fellow students — the stoic Tetsuo and the notorious troublemaker Zenya — begin to take an intense and inexplicable interest in him.

What are Tetsuo and Zenya after? Are his hallucinations really nothing more? Everyone seems to know more than they’re letting on — but by trying to put the pieces together, Youji may be sowing the seeds of his doom.

After being devastated in the third World War (known as The Third Division), Japan was divided in two. Several years after the end of the war, a crime organization called Vischio has taken control of the destroyed city of Toshima (formerly Tokyo, Japan’s capital city), where they are holding a battle game known as “Igura”.

The game’s main character, a young man named Akira, is falsely accused of a crime. Once arrested, a mysterious woman appears before him, offering him freedom if he agrees to participate in Igura and defeat Igura’s strongest man: the king, or “Il re”. The story follows Akira’s life in the harsh, lawless Toshima as he fights both to survive and to unravel the mysteries developing around him.

One day, Sora mysteriously falls from the window of an upper floor in the school building. After being released from the hospital and returning to the school dormitory, his friend Matsuri announces that he has a new roommate, a very effeminate boy named Sunao who was their friend from childhood. The only problem is that Sora cannot remember him at all — which upsets Sunao and turns him rather cold to Sora.

Mystified as to why he cannot remember his past or why he fell from the building, Sora is determined to get answers, which turns out to be no easy task when things such as a sexually-harrassing math teacher or ghost possession get in the way. Then there is also the matter of Sunao acting very strangely from time to time…

Might and Adonis are close friends who grew-up together in the same orphanage. One day Might finds himself gravely wounded after falling off a cliff, and in order to save him, Adonis uses a forbidden dark spell. When Might wakes-up fully healed, Adonis is gone.

He goes into a quest to save him and stop the great demon Hadeus, accompanied by various allies-and-romantic-interests.

Our protagonist protects a man from an out of control car, but gets hit and loses his memory in the process. The man he saved happens to be the owner of a jazz bar, sótano. Out of sympathy for his hapless savior, the man decides to set him up with a job and a place to live.

From the outside, sótano looks like a cozy little jazz bar, but behind the scenes they solve problems that the police and legitimate detective agencies won’t touch. The staff there give our protagonist the name “Haru”. He gradually makes his way deeper into the organization, and the hearts and lives of the staff, while working as an apprentice bartender. But just who is Haru really…?

Aoi, a third year middle school student who attends an all-boy’s junior and senior high school. Hinata, the mysterious “Dead of Night Man” who only appears at 2 A.M. beneath the sakura tree. An intense sense of intrigue deepens as they encounter through a chance meeting that expands into secret rendezvous… what will come of it?

This is the story of a young man who lived and worked in the city, but quit due to a decline in his health and is invited by his childhood friend Sousuke to live with him and recover. He lives in a small village nestled beside a lagoon.

Around the same time, a strange phenomenon has been occurring there.
On the weekends, there are large earthquakes and what sounds like the stomping of a giant.

What could be causing those earthquakes and stomps!?
The protagonist gradually uncovers the secret behind them as he spends time with the residents of the village.

In July 2018, KAIJYU released an HD remaster of Lagoon Lounge 1 with redrawn CGs and the possibility to play it on Mac and Linux, with 3 additional languages. The HD version is only available on Steam. The 2 sequels will soon come out on Steam as well.
